On Wednesday the 11th of November 2015 at 11 a.m. a seminar entitled Introduction to the Career and Development Center (CDC) and its Role at the University of Zakho was held at the Hall of the Chemistry Department in the Faculty of Science building.
In the presence of Assist. Prof. Dr. Lazgin Abdi Jamil, the President of the University of Zakho, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Abdulwahab Khalid Mosa, the Vice President for Students Affairs at the University of Zakho, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Abdulhameed Sulaiman, Vice President for Administration and Financial Affairs at the University of Zakho, along with the Dean of the Faculty of Science, a number of center directors, head of departments, and lecturers, Ms. Edi S. Kachal, the Director of the Career and Development Center at the University of Zakho in collaboration with Mr. Sabah S. Haji, lecturer at the Department of English Language at the University of Zakho and a career specialist, gave an introduction to the Career and Development Center its goals and importance to the University of Zakho.
Aiming to provide professional career guidance for university students and alumni, Ms. Edi S. Kachal pointed out that the Career and Development Center at UoZ looks forward to support and pave the way for students and alumni to overcome the gap between their education and job market requirements through career management workshops and employability skills training.
